What this product is
Live Translator is an in-house MIVRON development. The company is responsible for the product concept, architecture, mobile application and server-side voice processing.
Why a regular translator isn't enough
Classic translator apps often require manual language switching, button presses and passing the device back and forth between speakers. The goal of the product is to make conversations between people who speak different languages more natural and continuous.
How the system works
The product builds a sequential voice-processing pipeline — from one speaker's speech to a voiced reply for the other.
One speaker talks in their own language at a normal conversational pace.
The audio stream is converted into text in the source language.
The text is translated into the selected language direction.
The translated text is voiced out loud.
The second participant hears the reply in their own language.
